Providing Total Support for Introducing Japanese Manufacturing Overseas
The plant in Thailand opened in March 2015 and is located in the Pinthong Industrial Estate 1, which is about 30 minutes away by car from the Laem Chabang Port, where large cargo can be loaded and unloaded. The plant has two overhead travelling cranes of 50t/15t and 30t/5t, which is an industry-first for a Japanese company’s plants in Thailand. It can handle a wide range of machines. In addition to moving and installation of production equipment, the plant provides services similar to Japanese ones from temporary storage including overhaul, maintenance and painting, to delivery, setup and installation of new machines. It will support manufacturing for customers who operate in ASEAN countries as well as Thailand.

For providing services, a Japanese engineer who is proficient in Thai language and a Thai engineer work as a pair, carefully listen to customer’s needs and consider them from the customer’s perspectives, starting from meetings and on-site inspection also make efforts to reflect them in the desired construction work.
