Sun Engineering has several types of cranes,
capable of operating in different environments

Sun Engineering has an assortment of cranes that make it possible to perform crane operations under a variety of conditions where the required machinery for the lifting operation is either not available or cannot be used; such as where overhead travelling cranes are not installed at the work location, where overhead travelling cranes are installed at the location but the scope of the work area extends beyond their reach or where truck-based cranes are available but are unable to enter the work area. Customers can also choose the most appropriate crane according to the weight of the objects to be lifted from 130t-class heavy objects down to a weight of 0.5t.

• The addition of an outrigger and a shorter, reinforced boom, this short-boom crane can be used as a substitute for a (non-short boom) 100t all-terrain crane.
• The train can be driven on public roads without dismantlement of the crane-boom and truck sections.
  (Note: counterweights must be hauled separately.)
• Since the vehicle is almost the same size and weight as a regular 15t truck, it is able to travel without drive-time restrictions.

Due to the three points listed above, the cost of using this crane
is low in comparison with a 100t all-terrain crane!

• Thanks to its special steering mode (all-wheel/axle steering) the crane achieves a minimum turning radius of 6m, enabling entry to narrow spaces where the short-boom crane works best.
• Because this crane is a special vehicle there are only a limited number in Japan. When limited to the Kanto region there are only a small number of these vehicles available, including those owned by Sun Engineering.

• Gantry cranes can be dismantled into a compact size, allowing them to be installed even in narrow spaces.
• These cranes can be transported by a regular truck, allowing us to provide them for use at a reasonable price.
• The cranes can be driven forwards, backwards and sideways and moved vertically with a heavy load attached and hoisted in a raised position. (Movement is possible by simple operation using hydraulic button controls.)
• Gantry cranes enable loading, unloading, installation, movement and maintenance of machinery to be carried out in narrow or confined spaces such as inside factories, tunnels, buildings, pits and underground locations.
• They can also be used as a substitute for overhead travelling cranes.

• Mini crawler cranes are compact and can therefore be installed in narrow spaces.
• These cranes can be transported by a regular truck, allowing us provide them for use at a reasonable price.
• The cranes are capable of lifting heavy objects weighing between 0.5t and 4.9t.
• Mini crawler cranes enable loading, unloading, installation, movement and maintenance of machinery to be carried out in narrow or confined spaces such as inside factories, tunnels, buildings, pits and underground locations.
• They can also be used as a substitute for overhead travelling cranes.
